mXDriver 17.3.1 is based on AMD’s Radeon Software Crimson ReLive Edition 17.3.1 and brings the usual optimizations from AMD (newly supported games and bugfixes) as well as support fort Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon® Wildlands. Vulkan support is also included and gives Doom a big fps boost. Please note: Newer versions of the Vulkan API (1.0.26+) don’t work with the Vulkan Stardust Demo although other applications like Doom work great in Vulkan mode.
If you have troubles running a Vulkan application, which ran with mXDriver 16.9.1 Reloaded (Vulkan API 1.0.21), than it should be sufficient if you replace amdvlk64.dll in C:\Windows\System32 with an older version. mXDriver 17.3.1 comes with a newer version of amdvlk64.dll, to get version 1.0.21 of amdvlk64.dll you can just use the file from mXDriver 16.9.1 Reloaded. The file is located in the ZIP-Archive under Packages/Drivers/Display/WT6A_INF/B******/ (the * are placeholders for a sequence numbers which change with every release). If this advice does not help you please let me know in the comments section.

I get flickering textures in game with this one M395X
I found out lots of people are getting the same issues with this and 17.2.1 when playing ESO.
Joe you should find that 17.2.1 and onwards actually fixes error43 issues for the M390, M290 etc.
Exactly, Mat.
After solving problems opening the .7z archive with a new application “9-Z”, I get missing “.dll” file error messages when trying to open the AMD Radeon and FirePro utility. Uninstalled and reinstalled–same problem. The driver itself with little use seems to work well–MacPro D300’s.
After using 17.3.1 for about 10 hours, the driver works great! MacPro (2013) AMD D300’S.
I get the missing qt5*.dll errors too.
Had to delete all qt5 dlls in windows/system32 than run repair tool in packages.
my graphic card has newly modded vbios, i unlocked the 896 shader to 1024 shader for RX 460 4gb sapphire nitro. and when i update the driver to latest, the amd download manager keeps on not responding. i always stuck in old driver version 16.6 crimson. pls help me with this. how can i update this to new driver? thanks in andvance!
Don’t update!
Uninstall and do a clean new install with the newer driver as described in the how to.
Hi and thanks for the great work!
I recently updated Windows 10 to 1703 and since than it freezes after a few minutes.
Is the 17.4 driver to be expected soon?
Turning off “Game Mode” seems to help!
[2013 Mac Pro D700]
Hello and thank you for all the work you have put into this project.
I have a 2016 imac with a M395X. When I try to install mXDriver 17.3.1 while following the mXDriver Howto guide. I receive an incompatible build error message and the installation is terminated. How do I trouble shoot this issue.
So far the most recent driver I have successfully installed is 17.1.1
Cheers
