Finally… mXDriver 17.8.1

It took me quite some time to release a new version of mXDriver, sorry for my absence! mXDriver 17.8.1 is based on AMD’s Radeon Software Crimson ReLive Edition 17.8.1 and brings the usual optimizations from AMD (newly supported games and bugfixes) as well as support for Quake™ Champions Early Access and Agents of Mayhem. Vulkan support is also included and gives Doom a big fps boost. Please note: Newer versions of the Vulkan API (1.0.26+) don’t work with the Vulkan Stardust Demo although other applications like Doom work great in Vulkan mode.

If you have trouble running a Vulkan application, which ran with mXDriver 16.9.1 Reloaded (Vulkan API 1.0.21) or other older drivers please see the FAQ for help. Read more Finally… mXDriver 17.8.1

Radeon Crimson Edition 16.3 MXmod available

AMD published the new Crimson Edition 16.3 on March 9th. It has a lot of improvements. Performance wise Rise of the Tomb Raider and Gears of War Ultimate Edition should run faster now. For a complete list of changes please see AMD’s announcement here.

So I started modding the Crimson Edition 16.3 for Apples D300, D500 and D700 – wanna know the outcome? Well, it seems to work fine.

Modded AMD Radeon Crimson 16.2.1 for Mac Pro available

I finished my work on the Radeon Crimson 16.2.1 Hotfix. The driver should install on all new Mac Pros under 64-bit Windows beginning with Windows 7. Your Windows needs to be in Testsigning Mode as the driver isn’t fully signed yet because a code signing certificate costs around 100 $.

If you have a new Mac Pro (Late 2013) with an AMD FirePro D300, D500 or D700 you can install that driver on your system. Read more Modded AMD Radeon Crimson 16.2.1 for Mac Pro available
