mXDriver 17.6.1

mXDriver 17.6.1 is based on AMD’s Radeon Software Crimson ReLive Edition 17.6.1 and brings the usual optimizations from AMD (newly supported games and bugfixes) as well as improved support for Prey® and DiRT 4™. Vulkan support is also included and gives Doom a big fps boost. Please note: Newer versions of the Vulkan API (1.0.26+) don’t work with the Vulkan Stardust Demo although other applications like Doom work great in Vulkan mode.

mXDriver 16.8.1 for Boot Camp

mXDriver 16.8.1 is out and based on AMD Radeon Crimson 16.8.1. Details to the fixes and optimizations offers AMD at its website.

mXDriver 16.8.1 supports AMD Graphics powered Mac Pros (2013+). Retina iMac and MacBook Pro (2015+) support is currently experimental and might not work! To see all supported GPUs please see listing below.

mXDriver 16.8.1 was made specifically for Mac users running Windows in a Boot Camp environment therefor mXDriver support for Non-Mac-Graphics is limited. Installing mXDriver on systems other than Apple systems is NOT RECOMMENDED.

Currently only FirePros (D300, D500 and D700) seem to work properly other Apple branded GPUs are experimental.

AMD released Radeon Crimson 16.5.3 yesterday with several fixes and support for Total War: Warhammer™, Overwatch™ and Dota™2 (with Vulkan™ API). For details please see AMDs website.

mXDriver supports AMD Graphics powered Mac Pros (2013+), Retina iMacs and MacBook Pros (2015+). To see all supported GPUs please see listing below.

mXDriver also supports all the GPUs which the original Radeon Crimson 16.5.3 supports out of the box. So beside your Apple specific AMD GPUs the driver is also suitable for newer AMD PC GPUs.
